The kids and I went blueberry picking on Saturday (August 1). We had talked about doing it since June, but got to doing other things. So we finally did it before it was the end of the season. The three of us managed to get a bit over a gallon. I was thankful for Bradford's help. He was such a great picker this year. McCance ate nearly as many as he picked, I think. And we just finished the last of the blueberries the other day in a smoothie. We also enjoyed a blueberry muffin cake, but mostly just plain, fresh blueberries!
