Moose is our new foster dog. He's a Basset Hound/shepherd mix. He's very affectionate and gentle and loves kids and even has convinced Ady to play a bit with him each day. We really wanted a break from fostering, but agreed to take a dog on a "case by case" basis. I wasn't convinced about Moose, but he really needed a new foster home and this time I am so pleased about our choice. We're still working a bit on the house training part, but he's making progress. He's really coming out of his shell and showing us his real personality. He even played fetch with me for about 5 minutes today. And he's the smallest dog we've ever had at 35 pounds. Adorable, isn't he?
