Our New Kitchen Floor
We had already removed a layer of sheet vinyl and its plywood subfloor. Below you see the next layer of sheet vinyl and linoleum being scraped off, leaving its paper backing behind.
Next using a rented wallpaper steamer, I steamed off all of the paper to reveal the lovely, glue-laded plywood subfloor.
Larry worked to fill all the holes, sand it, and a list of other things that I am forgetting right now. Oh, Scott helped him. Really.
I failed to get any photos of the actual installation process, but here is the finished floor. Remaining is the trim and quarter round to be painted and installed very soon.
