Well, McCance did a doozy to his lip, but, thankfully, the actual cut wasn't deep at all, so we were, yet again, able to bypass a trip to the ER with our active child. And as it nearly always happens, I wasn't but two feet away. He was dancing on the kitchen floor in his footed pj's when he slipped and, I believe, fell on his chin--his tooth cutting/bumping into his lower lip. We iced it and gave him some arnica to keep the swelling and bruising to a minimum. Here it at the end of the day. It hasn't stopped him from eating, drinking, or enthusiastically brushing his teeth.

Poor guy!
Isn't arnica wonderful?? Rylan got his fingers stuck in the door hinge-AGAIN yesterday. (this time it was actually the dog's fault! He was nudging the door with his nose to follow me down the basement as Rylan was at the door, too) It looked SO bad, but after some ice water and arnica gel, he was playing and not bruised within 20 minutes!
hm, i'm going to have to look this arnica thing up. must be good stuff! that looks SO painful...poor little guy. hope all is well with you..i was excited about the updates! :)
