The red chair is a favorite place in our house, a source of trouble, and likely a interior designer's nightmare. It was a $10 yard sale find, but nonetheless we are very fond of it. It is meant for reading and snuggling. It only is a source of trouble when two boys get tired of reading and use it as a jungle gym or wrestling mat.
That said I got a lovely picture for what the chair should be used on Friday when Seuser's came for our Australia Day. Andrew is not in the picture. At the time he was contentedly playing on the floor. But just look at the coziness of Leslie and three boys in the chair--not to mention the wee baby girl (in utero) that is hidden by the book.
