Scott loaded the wagon as well as he does our van on a long trip and we walked 10 minutes up to the scenic shopping center parking lot for the fireworks. (They are set off at Bishop Park, so instead of walking that extra 10-15 minutes, we settle for the view over the top of the strip mall until the boys are a bit older.) After we were settled in our chairs, the boys were very patient as we waited for it to get dark. And it was worth it. The fireworks were a hit with both boys.

Fourth of July
Once Our Sara left (or Cousin Sara, as McCance has re-named her) we had a pretty mellow day. Both boys even had naps to counteract for the late night they would be having from watching the fireworks.
