He did his final revisions on his story about our trip. Here it is!!
On Saturday Mommy and Daddy surprised me with a birthday present. We went to the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway station and got tickets for the train. Our train car number was 2705. We got on the car and waited awhile for the train to go. Finally it went.
On the way to our stop, we went past two men painting a boxcar. We went past a few railroad crossings and over some bridges. On the way to McCaysville, Georgia. Daddy, McCance, and I walked through the cars. At last the train stopped, and we were in McCaysville, Georgia and Copperhill, Tennessee. We got off the train and ate lunch. Then we went to look in the stores.
On the way back to Blue Ridge Scenic Railway station, Daddy, McCance, and I walked to a place where two train cars connect and looked out. When we got back to the station, we got out of our train car, and Daddy took a picture of McCance and me with the engineer. Then we walked back to our van, went to dinner and ate ice cream. Finally we went home.
The End
