Wisdom Seekers and the UGA Vet School Open House

We made it out early this morning to attend the Vet School's annual open house with our co-op group. First we went with Bradford with Little Bear to the Teddy Bear Surgery. His friend, Will, joined us with a "foster" bear.

Next we watched the "Parade of Breeds." Bradford said his favorite was the Yorkie. My favorite was the Burmese Mountain dog puppy; he was bigger than Adelaide and adorable! McCance liked the two Great Pyrenees, one of which had 6 toes on his back foot! Cora didn't have a preference. She liked them all.

Next we checked out all the farm and large exotic animals. Here's what we saw. . .

The last one is my favorite. Can you guess what it is? Anyone? Sara?

Yep. It's a water buffalo!

Where's MY water buffalo!?!

Actually, the guy told my Scott that it was an Asian Water Buffalo...that reminded me, not of Veggie Tales (although that is a regular on our car stereo), but of hard-working Asian men & women in rice patties wearing big straw hats.

I'm disappointed you didn't post a picture of Norman - the cow with a hole in his side. Maybe one of mine will turn out. He was my favorite!
